If you have a change of address please contact me before your next expected shipment. Amber & Oak will ship to the address on your original order each time unless notified of an address change.

BILLING INFO: No need to worry about billing cycles or unexpected charges—everything is paid upfront! You will be charged for all 4 candles upfront, like a pre order. Your exclusive candle will ship to you for each of the four seasons. Teasers may be posted on social media to get a sneak peek of the upcoming scent story and you will receive an email notification with tracking when your next candle is on it's way. Please remember to include an email in your order for tracking notifications throughout the year.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES: Subscriptions are non-refundable once charged.  There are no refunds or exchanges. The Storylight Society Exclusive Subscription Candle is all about surprises! Each season, you’ll receive a unique custom blended candle. The mystery of not knowing exactly which fragrance you’ll get makes it exciting! It’s like unwrapping a gift from us to you—an opportunity to discover new scents you might never have chosen for yourself. Our Candles are made with 100% pure soy wax infused with essential oils and phthalate free fragrance. They contain no animal bi products, toxins or additives.
Each candle is hand poured into an amber recyclable glass jar with a kraft label and metal twist top lid. This is format is perfect for counters, desks, dressers, bedside tables and basically anywhere in your home. The simple design matches most décor and makes a wonderful gift idea as well! Our soy wax is sourced from soybeans grown in the United States. No ingredients used in this candle are tested on animals.

→ Candle Care
The first time you light your candle, allow the wax to pool all the way to the outer edges of the glass jar. Allowing a full melt pool guarantees an even burn (no tunneling) and maximum fragrance throw. To ensure optimum scent and a cleaner burn please keep the wick trimmed in between burns and do not burn for over 3 hours at one time.
Always burn candles on a level, heat-resistant stable surface and keep your candle away from any drafts or other heat sources to avoid your candle burning too quick or unevenly.

Want your candle to last longer with minimal soot? Trim the wick to 1/4” before every single burn, and avoid burning for over 3 hours at one time.

More Info on soy candles:
• Due to the nature of our 100% pure soy wax, may notice a slight frosting on the top of your candles. This is completely normal and a sign that the candles are, in fact, made with soy wax!
• Soy wax is non-toxic and environmentally friendly.
• Soy wax is biodegradable and can be cleaned up with soap and water if spilled.
• Soy candles have a more natural, lighter scent compared to paraffin wax candles. They burn cleaner and do not release potentially harmful petrochemicals into the air while burning, and are great for those who are sensitive to strong headache causing candles in the stores today.

DISCLAIMER:
Each item is made in my small home studio on long island, NY. Because all of these items are handmade, they may have minor imperfections at times such as: slightly off-centered label or wick, tiny markings on the outside of the jar, textured wax on top (typical with natural waxes), etc. None of these impact the quality of the candle. Please realize that scents are subjective and I appreciate you taking the chance on my aromas without sniffing them first. Some Amber & Oak candles are novelty items and can be non-traditional scents. They are my personal creative interpretation of the story behind the candle and it is possible for you to disagree with the scent. Kindly review my shop policies if you are unsure about a scent or send me a message to ask any questions you may have prior to purchasing! :)
